    • Our Coral Reef Ecology Curriculum is a great resource for students and teachers. Filled with lesson plans, videos, and interactive learning exercises, our education portal engages and inspires students to learn about coral reefs and to become stewards of this vital ecosystem.

    • We are now accepting applications for the 2024 Science Without Borders® Challenge! This annual art contest encourages students to learn about important ocean science and conservation issues through art. The competition is open to middle and high school students 11-19 years old, with prizes of up to $500 awarded to the winning entries.

Our friends at MarineLab (@marinelabkeylargo) are inviting you to attend their Marine Science Workshop from July 15th to 19th in Key Largo, FL. The best part is that you can attend for free by applying to the Caribbean Teachers Initiative (CTI)!🔬Choose from workshops like Introduction to Coastal Marine Ecology, Advanced Marine Ecology, and Citizen Science. No snorkeling experience? No problem! MarineLab's staff will guide you every step of the way. 🤿 You'll spend your days snorkeling the seagrasses, mangroves, and coral reefs protected by the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary, Everglades National Park and John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. During the evenings, you'll network with other teachers, discuss the ecology of subtropical marine habitats, and participate in hands-on labs. ✈️ Thanks to the Adam Taylor Memorial Fund, middle and high school science teachers from Caribbean countries can attend for free.
